Recently, our communities (especially small businesses) have been grappling with the effects of COVID-19, and to help them out, we created CovidBizLink. It is a platform that helps connect small businesses with volunteers (accountants, developers, marketing specialists, etc) who are able to provide necessary services. Businesses need help with anything from web development to community outreach. If you want to help, no matter your background, sign up below. No matter how small your contribution may seem, it goes a long way! We extend our help to anyone that needs it: including community groups and nonprofit organizations.
After you sign up, be sure to fill out your information
under "Account", either as a volunteer, a business, or even both! After you do so, head on over to
the "Volunteer" page to see people that can help, or the "Business" page to see folks that need
help. If you are signed in, the lists are filtered so that only the profiles relevant to you is
displayed. Click on a listing that you are interested in, and a profile page will pop up with more
details. Click on the "Contact" button to reach out and introduce yourself via email, or connect
with them using their socials. This applies to both volunteers and businesses.
If you are a
business and have received help, tell us about it in your account page!
We are a team of students trying to do our part in combating Covid-19 using technology. We want to engage our community in helping our local businesses — the backbone of our economy and the heart of our communities. We know that with your help, we can make an impact.
